I am mainly a self taught artist having discovered oil painting in a local weekly class some years ago. From a fun hobby, my painting soon progressed to a full time passion, and now most days I can be found in my light filled garden studio, where I create modern colourful landscape paintings. My Inspiration comes from both the wild Irish scenery that i love, and also the landscapes that I have explored on my travels. Using both my imagination and layering techniques with a palette knife, I create images and moods of the world around us in a semi-abstract form.
